   Don Zavodny, former Lincoln Regional Center employee, spoke on behalf of the Nebraska Association of Public Employees at the Nebraska State Capitol Thursday, February 13, 2004, regarding LB1083, a legislative bill dealing with behavioral health reform.  Also pictured is Jim Lightner (right), Executive Director of NAPE/AFSCME Local 61 in Lincoln.

Other News and Information:

    On February 12, 2004 Gwen Howard attended the Lincoln Central Labor Council meeting.  She is a CPS Worker in the Omaha area and a member of NAPE/AFSCME Local 61.  She is running for the Nebraska Legislature in District 9.

    Sue Martin, from the NE Department of Education and a NAPE/AFSCME Local 61 member,  was elected to the Executive Board of the Lincoln Central Labor Council.
